Courtyard by Marriott Kingston

Loved the experience from the front of desk attendant Jade Downey. She was very polite and welcoming, made me feel right at home! Her hospitality was second to none and will definitely be coming back to the Marriott in the near future because of my experience with her at the forefront.

For the price point, this hotel gets 5 stars - we have already booked our next stay. The lobby is wonderful, open, modern and spacious with a cool dining area and a beautiful fireplace. I was greeted by a friendly and sophisticated team member who quickly set me up with a room key and a brief orientation. We stayed in room #330 which had a lovely view, was spacious and newly renovated. The bathroom was great and most importantly, the bed was clean and VERY comfortable. WIFI for business was strong enough for me to do a Zoom call with no glitches from my hotel room. The pool/hot tub are nothing fancy, but were clean and available. The location - great from a practical perspective. I was there on both business and pleasure, so having the Target at a walkable distance was a relief in case I needed anything I could quickly dash in. A short, easy drive into Kingston for restaurants and fun! Kingston is an amazing town - great shops, music and places to eat. Be sure to try Sissy's if you are gluten free, Le Shag if you want a great cut and style.

Hotel is in an awesome location, so many stores in the area. The staff at the desk was extremely friendly I felt right at home as soon as we began checking in. They were very helpful with all questions. The room was perfect, extremely clean, probably the cleanest hotel I’ve been to, well stocked with towels, and the bed was super comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. We went swimming after dinner in the pool. There is a Starbucks in the lobby and some couches and a nice fireplace. I can say with certainty this was my most pleasant hotel experience to date. Genuinely have zero complaints other than the hot tub being closed but that is not anyone’s fault. Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay.

Great hotel with a perfect location. It’s very convenient for trips to the ski area or hiking in the Catskill Mountains—everything is within a 30-45 minute drive. I can’t say enough about the staff’s customer service; they truly went above and beyond our expectations and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very clean and looked recently renovated, with new furniture and carpet. The beds were extremely comfortable, which made resting after a long day easy. We also really enjoyed the jacuzzi after a busy day—it was an excellent and relaxing experience. Highly recommend this hotel for both active trips and a comfortable stay.

Pretty good hotel, the bathroom felt a bit dated but was otherwise a good stay with a comfortable room and bed.

This hotel exceeded my expectations, especially after coming from cramped quarters in NYC! I arrived way early and the front desk staff were very kind and let me check right in. Spacious clean rooms and a comfortable bed. The only downside for me is the distance from town without a car, which meant a lot of Lyft rides. There is also no free breakfast, just coffee and a small cafe with paid options in the lobby.

Very well done and can't complain with my stay. On-site restaurant is deceiving.. mini Starbucks would be appropriate wording... not the full menu, breakfast is passable but only one choice. Same as food at the end of the day, pre prepared and warmed food.... no menu to have cooked on the day... ended up getting off site food which is a total inconvenience to me hence I book rooms that say restaurant on site... hot tub down but at least the bath had proper hot water.... so could only give 4 stars as it wasn't everything I expected.

Really nice and well kept. There was one employee at the front desk named Ramona who made me feel right at home once I arrived. I’d really like to commend her on her performance and general vibe, we need more people like her in the world. At any rate, the hotel seemed well run and I loved my room.
